United Kingdom 2018 Range Rover TDV6 Waitomo Grey

I have used Greenflag and RAC in the passed and found them all very good. However for my partners car, a 6 year old Volvo, I look mainly at price. The chance of her having a breakdown is small so I go for a "chip as chips policy".

Recently I looked at QDOS Breakdown www.qdosbreakdown.co.uk and Nova Direct www.nova-direct.com how both offer polices for lass then £20 a year ! For that price you cannot really go wrong

2010 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Alaska White

I've got Autoaid Breakdown which costs about £50 per year. The policy covers any car I'm in at the time and transports me and the passengers to where ever.

It's been used once in 5 years (kit car breakdown) and a recovery truck arrived and took me and car home within about 1 hour from calling them.

All of these organisations including RAC & AA regularly subcontract out recoveries, particularly in rural areas, to local operators.

United Kingdom 2004 Range Rover HSE 4.4 V8 Giverny Green

Seconded for autoaid personal cover ( any vehicle being driven by policy holder and spouse) Currently £48.31

see https://autoaidbreakdown.co.uk/personal-based-cover/

or go via topcashback for a cashback of 12.6% if it tracks

Used it once so far for a puncture - recovery took 45 mins to arrive in a very rural location

Green flag is 88.00 including europlus cover, but the car is still under warranty and it’s only a back up..

Guess the price might rise once it’s three years old.

Just didn’t bother to renew mine , in the small print there was a 10 mile limit for repositioning the car... will look again when JLR policy expires.... Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc
