Just as an update. Everything has been checked. All the connections are good. I had no change in charging voltage, until around 10 days ago.

Since then, the voltage has been slowly creeping up. I'm now seeing 14v quite often and an occasional 14.1.

No idea why this is, but it's a definite improvement on 13.8.
