Cheers.. will check that too.. however symptom wise.. binding break would cause wobble yeah but not the noise Current:

Check for play in the front cv joints.

Basically there should be some sliding movement in the cv but no other movement. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Just a wee update.. took advantage of the nice weather yesterday and stripped the driver side to replace both control arms and the ball joints.
