I think it's generally suffice rust unless it's lived on fields etc. I think people have been using other products to protect from further corrosion perhaps bilt hamber stuff but I've seen a few threads so a search should bring up some results.

The black plastic trims on the side of the car at the bottom. They cover the sills. If you take them off they sometimes, we'll mostly, start to rust under the rear by the jacking point. Best to have a look under there before it gets too bad and needs cutting and welding. Quite a few threads on this. Current 2007 TDV8 Vogue Buckingham Blue |
