How come they didn't catch on......

This afternoon I was taking the FFRR to the local dealers to book it in for it's 1st service and for 17 miles I followed a very nice Jowlett Javelin in maroon, I never realised they were so fast or could accelerate as well as this one turned off the A811 and to the bypass round to the M9, as was I , and then it accelerated away down the slip-road onto the motorway as well as any modern car - I was really rather surprised how well such an old car could keep pace with modern cars and it certainly didn't struggle when it got to the uphill section of the motorway just south of Stiriing. 47P2 - do you know anybody with a Maroon Red Javelin? 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes

I cannot remember the 3 letters of the reg but it ended in 433. It was a very streamlined saloon so I assume that it was one of the later cars, same as the one in your first photo. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes
