Help needed with heated seat fault

Hello,

My 07MY SC drivers seat had stopped heating (I'm not sure if cooling is working either) I'm getting the following fault with IID Tool

SCME-DrivSeat Climate B1156-7A (28) Driver's seat - Mechanical failure - fluid leak or seal failure

It appears the fans are blowing but getting no heat, I reset the code and it immediately came back, reset a second time and has now stayed gone but still no heat.

Presumably something to do with the peltier cell - is there anything on them filled with liquid that would tie in with the leak mentioned above?

Hoping someone may have had similar issue and could shed some light on it

TIA

The seat heating/cooling peltier cell rely's on pressure to work, usually the plastic ducting breaks and this means a pressure loss and the system shuts down!

Pop the rear cover off the seat and inspect the ducting. My guess is it will be split open! They are very expensive to replace!

Yea, just found a thread with lots of pics of broken pipework, best I get filters removed and checked before I do too much surgery and if it is a goosed pipe hopefully it can be patched as others have.
