Webasto or Eberspacher

I have replaced for new my entire FBH and all along I thought it was a Thermotop c by webasto.... turns out it's not, and no wander I was not getting any joy online. Seems landrover did some kind of deal for exclusivity, meaning no-one but land rover have the diagnostics to interact with them.

I was hoping to use the old one to run heating in my garage as it only burns 3-4L in 30 hours
. I was planning to use a 12V pump, red diesel of course, 2X 100W solar panels and 2x leasure batterys and some central heating radiators + a thermostat so my garage stays at a permanent 15c maybe 22c if I'm feeling flush! Thumbs Up

So... shopping for a thermotop now and will have to sell the RR heater as they cannot be bench tested or fired up without the vehicle ecu talking to it unlike the webasto unit (How annoying)

How much do you want for one? And are they fully working, and will cycle through a start up and shut down etc?

Reason I ask is I bought 2 so far I had to return because the automatic start up and shut down didn't work. I need one for my garage central heating project Thumbs Up
