[SOLD] 2011 5L Supercharged Autobiography 52,000 miles

I'm at the very early stages of scoping a sale on my RR - truth be known I'd love to keep it but I've a new car coming fairly soon!

It is the third 5L SC LR I've had (in various models) as I love the smooth power delivery. My next car has another 5L SC JLR unit but won't be arriving until early next year. I would consider selling early as I don't really want to be left with both cars and I know there are not that many people looking for this kind of car very often as it's quite niche.

For me when I was hunting for a 5L, the most important thing was service history and warranty with a car like this so it's all here:

28/5/2011 First registered, Ripon LR
25/5/2012 Oil Service 6,167m Ripon LR
24/5/2013 Insp 1 Service 12,525m Ripon LR
22/5/2014 Oil Service 19,720m Ripon LR
26/5/2015 Insp 2 Service 25,802m Ripon LR
25/5/2016 Oil Service 32,042m Ripon LR
26/5/2017 Insp 1 Service 38,576m Ripon LR

27/10/2017 Sold to second owner 40,812m with two year LR approved extended warranty
16/11/2017 Bought by me, warranty transferred to me

26/5/2018 Oil Service 47,355m Cheltenham LR

Tires all have 5-6mm+ of tread remaining
Brakes pads 7mm front, 8mm rear

The car is an unmolested Autobiography spec so it has the usual features (TV, heated/cooled seats etc). It's probably easiest to list the options it doesn't have than list everything but let me know if there is something specific you want to check. It does not have the rear seat entertainment (I use iPads for my kids), I did not want a car which had been used for towing so no tow-bar and it does not have rear privacy glass which I considered getting done for £200 but didn't in the end.

I know this is a word frequently overused in the car industry but the car is genuinely in showroom condition. There is one small bump (2pence coin size) on the rear bumper which I intend to get fixed but otherwise there is not a mark on it. No scuffs/scrapes/scratches on any alloys (including the full size spare).

VRN is YE11 XZC and I've just had it MOT'd - warranty paid for a slightly worn wishbone arm which it would have failed on so well worth having the warranty! Otherwise the car is exactly as you'd expect as any niggles I have sorted via the extended warranty.

For those who haven't had the chance to drive the 5L petrol as yet, I'd strongly suggest you give it a go. The drive is completely different to the Turbo Diesel models - absolutely zero lag when pulling off and a lovely surge of power if overtaking or on a motorway. Subjective I admit, but since having the 5L petrol engines, I'd never go back to a JLR diesel. I don't do that many miles annually (8000) therefore the difference in annual fuel costs per the year was about £500-700 for me (20mpg vs 30mpg) which is more than paid for in less depreciation costs compared to the more common TDV8s.

I had a look at values and they seem to vary wildly, being very dependant on mileage and service history. They seem to range from £22,000 to £29,000 for a 2011-2012 plate car depending on the mileage and spec. With my car having low mileage and 12 months left of LR warranty, I think it'd outshine most other contenders from a dealer even with their "gold star" warranty - which from my experience isn't ever as comprehensive as the LR extended one.

I'd be looking for offers very close to £23,500

Would be interesting to see more interior shots, and maybe some spec highlights.

I'm on it Jon, just trying to get the official spec print off from somewhere as I didn't have it when I bought privately. It had the deal-breaker options I wanted when I bought so didn't bother me about the rest but I appreciate if I'm marketing it I should list everything.

I'll get some more interior shots put up soon. 2011 5L SC Autobiography (For Sale!)
