had cause to use it today for the first time. Compared to an old Fiesta we used to have years ago that had it, it seems to take a while to clear and I've noticed that it doesn't clear all the way to the A Pillars either- it's about 6" short either side.

Mine does the same thing on the passenger side , its about 6"short from the A pillar other side is fine , never really bothered about it tho . |

if you look closely into the screen you can see the wires that heat the screen, you can see there is a band on either side that is not covered by the wires, ergo, unheated. Discovery 4 HSE

but it is only on my passenger side , drivers side it is wired right up to the A pillar |

Mine is wired right up to both A pillars but as I said, it stops 6'' short when switched on. |
