Still looking for a 4.4 tdv8. Local car dealer has a 11 plate vogue with 57k miles whilst main dealer has a 11 plate vogue se on 77k miles. Main dealer has 12 months warranty, car dealer offers 6 months. Both same price which would you go for and why please. Thanks

For my money, all other things being equal I would go for the dealer car.
20k miles is neither here nor there.
I like toys so SE is more desirable.
extra 6 months warranty.

Do a gearbox oil change...it'due.


There may be other factors but as I said all other things being equal...

I’m sure you could extend the 6 months warranty to 12.

Go for the one that's had the turbo drain done already!
(if all else equal)

Also some issues like starter motor failure or oil cooler don't occur until 70-80k miles.
That's just in my research/reading...

So it's all about what's been done mechanically.

Rusty rear wheel arches and tailgate should be high on your checklist too.
