Hello, first post regarding my L322 2008 3.6.

I've looked through the technical section, I'm still not 100% sure though so here goes :

This weekend drove the vehicle for three hours on Friday night and parked up - Saturday morning started car up and noticed the front suspension come up ( no messages or warning noises)

Same thing happened this morning (Sunday) after a few hours of driving the day before

I know I didn't put it in access mode height

Not had this before - is this a sign the air compressor is on its way out ?

Need to start looking more closely if it happens every time, and/or after the car has been left a while. Could be you have a very small leak up front somewhere.

Could be staying in motorway height mode when you park up, and then resets when you restart ?

Are you parking on a level surface, the vehicle will seek to self level overnight / over time, even when switched off

Both the L322s I have had do this on occasion on startup, also when stopping at traffic lights... .
Experience is the only genuine knowledge, but as time passes, I have forgotten more than I can remember

Both mine did this. If I leave mine a few days front drops an inch. It either sorts itself when I start up or I select off road height and then normal height quickly.

Cheers for the replies, it doesn't happen all the time joe90, to be fair it had just sat in cruise control at 60/70 going up the a9 and you mention motorway height, the times its done it it's been long journeys and not when pottering about at home, I had a RR sport years do something similar years and it needed a new pump but my memory is somewhat hazy !

I think motorway height is something like 100 mph on the later models. 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8
