Just got an L405 and looking at towbar options.

It has nothing fitted at the moment, would like something removable.

I had a farmers hitch on my L322 thinking I may want to add a bike rack or stabiliser bar at some point but in truth never did, so would consider a swan neck detachable, or even an electric one if they were available at the right price.

Will also need electrics

I have no particular time pressure right now as I will be unlikely to tow much until next year and it will be freezing to fit now too!

My local independent lr garage has a full electric deployable system fully fitted for £750 which is a almost brand new

Still not got round to resolving the tow bar (or lack thereof) issue so this is a rather wordy bump!

So what parts do I need to be looking out for, it was easy on an L322 - armature and bit that connects to it with a tow ball on but if I have read correctly there is something else required for an L405 that is often missing secondhand.

Electrics I would prefer 13 pin but can buy that separately if needed

Obviously if a complete electric version came up at a sensible price that would be good - the one that smartimarti came up with was a fit far away from me near Stansted Airport.
