I don't usually replace my cars that quickly so feel I get some value from the cars I buy. I had my Land Cruiser VX for 11yrs and my D3 for 8yrs so the crushing depreciation is far less painful over the long term. My D3 was losing about £1k/month when first bought and the D4 that followed it was similar. I bought the FF to allay my fears of the "Low Emission Zone" when it becomes more stringent in a year or so. Well that's what I told the wife!

WBAC prices are low, as they have a huge stock of 4x4's built up over the summer. As it gets colder /snowier, those cars sell, and command a premium. 2-3 weeks after the snow hits is usually the best time to sell. To. WBAC

I recently sold my old D3 to WBAC. It had done 165k mile and was a 2006 car. Seeing as the head gasket had failed, the gearbox and torque converter had gone, I was totally happy for the bloke to point out the peeling lacquer on the alloys. They gave me £2200 which I was very happy with tbh. |
