On my 2003 car you pick up the brake light wire from the light control module on the right side door kick panel . I run a Teckonsha brake controller, power direct from the battery via self resetting fuse. All info is on the forum somewhere as I managed to do it myself. 2007 TDV8 VSE

THe trailer brake controller socket was introduced with the L405, never on the L322. |

Great, more confusion. That's not what this https://www.rangerovers.net/forum/6-range-...oller.html and numerous other threads indicate. |

It appears that the socket was fitted to later L322s for the US as they were to US D4s, but to no other markets. |
