Auto folding side mirrors - disable?

Is there a way to disable the auto folding side mirrors on a 2012 L322? I don't want to resort to cutting wires but perhaps the LR dealer can program out this 'feature'?

My Faultmate doesn't list it as a CCF option but I haven't checked the IIDTool to see if it lists the option.

Just out of interest, what is it about the autofold that proves a problem? Personally I find things like driveway locking more infuriating.

With the amount of dirty great delivery vans flying around unchecked I'm appreciative of the folding mirrors, but agree all this stuff should be customisable in-car rather than by dealer diagnostics.

It’s set-able through the CCF files... 👍

I don’t know why they don’t stay folded until engine start, rather than lock unlock.

If I go to my car just to get something out the mirrors are in and out like it’s trying to fly. Can’t do battery any good or the motors.

Battery struggles enough as it is. That’s without all the dash waking up if you just open a door....

Rant over....

Hear, hear! I sounds like I need to send GAP some funds for their IIDTool BT.
