2010-2012 programming a used CJB

Hey,

is it possible to reprogram a used CJB?
The car works, but the VIN number from the CJB is incorrect.

Regards

Indeed, central junction box, or BCM apparently! And possibly RRS rather than FFRR Current: 2011 FFRR Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Yes found folk talking about programming the CJB with the VIN, later referred to as BCM, Body control module (so makes sense) but it was all for Sports not FF Current: 2011 FFRR Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Hi Joe,

From memory - i think it related to my 54 Plate - it is possible but you will probably end up with a mileage conflict dot on the dash that cannot be removed due to the second hand BCM (I think it relates to any SH control modules to stop mileage tampering).

I was advised that only new BCM (or the similar Light Control Module or LCM that also did the same) would be needed to avoid that.

They should be fine to reprogram as long as you don't mind the dot and can explain when you sell the car the reason why its there. Ash
