If it’s on the dVla site, worth checking out too, you should get a certificate of entitlement with a code on when you buy the plate.

But what about changing it back again? I mean transferring the personal plate to a brand new car and leaving the affected car with a valid plate? Or the same/original age plate? |

The plate your car is issued with stays with the vehicle.

Yes £80 fee, the original number went back on my p38 even after 9 years, one other thing I found is you often see the same number for sale on different sites best to see if its on dvla site because there fee is all in where some others charge transfer fee on top. |

Whether they are t**ts not is more dependent upon who works there, the charge for changing details depends upon the T&Cs. ![]() Just a heads up for the OP David Please let me know if my comments upset you, I may wish to upset you again. |
