***SOLD*** 2006 Land Rover Range Rover Vogue L322 4.4 V8 PET | |
For sale, my 2006 Range Rover Vogue, fitted with the Jaguar AJ-V8 4.4 petrol engine. £6750, offers welcome.
I have owned this since 2011 and have covered around 65,000 miles in that time. This has been a really excellent car and I'll be genuinely sorry to see it go, but it's time for a change.
It has a full service history, and during my ownership most of that has been carried out by a local Range Rover specialist, AHL Engineering - https://www.ahlengineering.co.uk. The most recent service was a major service which included changing the funds in all components (gearbox, transfer unit, axles, etc).
I've never had any serious problems with the car, just keeping it routinely serviced and replacing consumables when required. It had a new radiator a couple of years ago, and new front air suspension units before that. The air suspension all works perfectly as it should. I replaced all four brake discs, pads and handbrake shoes last year.
As shown in the pictures, the bodywork is in good overall condition for a car of this age, with only minor blemishes here and there as you would expect. No significant damage anywhere. Recently, both the MOT man and the servicing garage have commented on how good the condition of the underside of the car is.
It has all the normal toys and extras you would expect on a Range Rover, including heated seats (front and rear), and a heated steering wheel. Other extras include a fully-working TV (with Digital tuner), an adaptor to enable you to play your music through the stereo (plug in to your phone), and the Venture Cam, which is a Land Rover optional extra hand-held camera which you can take out and use and which displays on the screen in the car. It has the Harmann-Kardon audio system which is excellent quality. Front & Rear Parking sensors, and a reversing camera.
The car has a detachable towbar fitted.
I'm told that the Jaguar-engined cars are relatively rare. They replaced the BMW unit, but shortly after, Land Rover brought out the TDV8 which turned out to be more popular, so the non-supercharged petrol versions are less common. The engine is a lovely unit, quiet, smooth and powerful. In my own opinion, with the outcry current surrounding Diesel engines in general, the petrol engine is a much better option and is not going to be affected in the future by any penalties which might be imposed on diesel. The car is ULEZ-compliant, which can be checked on the TFL website, so if you live in London or visit regularly, you won't have to pay the ULEZ charge when it's introduced.
The car is registered to me, at my home, which is close to J4 of the M20 in Kent. I have both keys, and the original set of Range Rover handbooks in the leather case.
Viewing welcome by prior arrangement. Happy to discuss sensible offers.
Once we have agreed a sale, I would like a deposit of £250 and for the car to be paid for in full and collected within a further seven days please. Sorry to be so specific but I once sold a car where the buyer then went abroad for a unspecified period of time and expected me to keep the car, without any payment having been made, until he decided to come home again!
Payment is by cash or bank transfer only.
Any questions, just ask. Thanks for viewing. £6750.
