Hi Everybody!
It seems that nearly every week there is another poor soul who has SENSOR faults and I have read 100's of posts and comments. BUT! I think that mine is slightly different.
I have an 07 HSE L322. The ONLY time my sensors actually work is either when it is raining or straight after I have or in the process of washing the car! 'Water' seems to be the ingredient that makes the sensors work!
So today I have used a watering can and tested each sensor by pouring water around the area of each sensor. When the water was poured onto the bumper by the passenger-front-left sensor, BINGO ! BuuuuuuuuuuuZ ! . However! Has anyone managed to get their fingers into this sensor to push it out ?? After I just managed to get my hand in behind the plastic guard within the wheel arch, I then came upon the washer 'cans', which appeared to be fixed to the inside of the bumper and then the iron-girder that is the REAL bumper of the car.
Any help as to my next move would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers. 'Knowledge Is Power'
