Yes, the centre console box is more like my '83 than my '86. As noted above, the '86 had a rubbing strip on the front mudguard.

£1.5k was what I gave for my tatty 88 Turbo D RRC, and it came with best part of a years Mot too... the only thing that makes that RRC worth that much is if it is a "Genuine 1973" as it's free tax and test! But I still reckon that it's a ringer, it might not be of stolen origin, but of doubtful legality... it only takes one copper who knows his Range Rovers and you could be in a pile of poo!
