Hoping to get my hands on a used analog tuner that one of you may have stashed in a garage or spare room.

My sat nav screen has suffered the famous black (but backlit) screen, and having taken a look through the system the only damage I can find is to 2 pins in the tuner unit. Think there's been some water ingress, and no amount of cleaning up the connections has done the trick. Not sure if the system works that way, and that damage to one would knock the rest out, but for a decent price I'm happy to just swap it over and check.

Thanks for finding that, looks spot on. I wasn't sure if all the BMW modules would fit, so was out at sea a little on eBay. Nice one

Cheers Joe. I definitely would, I'm just not 100% sure that this'll fix the problem and then I'm stuck with a £250 paperweight rather than a £30 one. If this fixes it I'll be making you an offer and upgrading

I probably still have the analogue board I removed when I updated it to digital. If I have, you can have it for the cost of postage (from Oz). I'll have a look in the garage tonight. Ron B. VK2OTC
