Just a point to note, they wont fit over the 2011 Brembos as these are bigger due to the new engine - sorry. "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you.

And FYI you can get weights that stick inside the wheel rather than are crimped on the outside. Looks a bit neater. That sounds like an a-hole comment but its not meant to be!  

Dan, not wanting another argument tonight but it has been explained to me by an expert wheel balancer (That I trust) that the reason those weight lips are there is that to balance a wheel (properly) you need some of the weight on the outside and when all of the weight is hidden inside the balance is never perfect. Thus the reason most LR 19" have a "Weight rim" on the outside (and 20" + style wheels will never be perfectly balanced)

Why only the 19's and not the 18's or 20's? After all, your balancing the tyre, not the wheel.

The weight's that are added to balance the plane of the wheel (lateral wheel wobble), so for example if you want to balance by putting 5g on the front/outer of the wheel. You would put 7.5g on the inside edge - think lever effect.

If you are balancing an axis difference then you put it dead centre opposite side.

Rim weights are about 1/4 of the price, they also require no surface prep. Where as the sticky weights need a nice clean surface to stick properly. Generally one only see's clip on weights on steel wheels.

It is just remotely possible that experts in their chosen fields may know more than you Dan. After all 20" and above wheels are fashion orientated and Fashion does not allow for external weights my friend.

nb: I meant 19" and lower sizes as you well know.

So LR make cars with wheels that can't be balanced? Not sure I buy that.

Not sure why a difference in opinion on a topic makes you think I am "on your back" but I can assure you that I am not and have supported you an many occasions as you well know (and in some cases when you did not know).

I discussed this subject when balancing some wheels with a guy I believe to be an expert and he showed me on his machine why outside and inside weights were required to get a "Perfect" Balance. As you know I am not a mechanic so cannot give full details but its safe to say he was making perfect sense to me at least.

Land Rover are becoming increasingly "Style" concious and are perfectly capable of putting style before substance if means greater profit.

I was really not saying you cannot balance 20" + rims just that in the opinion of this expert you cannot achieve "perfect" balance that's all.

Now cheer up and have a drink.

a 'static' balance is perfectly acceptable ..static being only balancing the inner rim lip..
you can also balance an alloy by putting stick-on weights on the inside of the wheel as close as you can to the inner rim edge and as close as you can to the outter edge , both weights obviously being hidden inside...
i say this with 24 years tyre experience.. ... - .- -.
