New wheels and tyres, done less than 1000 miles and had a puncture in a Michellin Latitude, put the spare on, that had a flamin egg in the tread. Limped to the local tyre place, new tyre needed x 2 the Michellin couldn't be repaired and the space saver needed replacing £350 lighter car now back, feeling depressed. BMW i3 Electric Car

If it's a nail and not a split I suggest you try a motorcycle puncture repair kit. The brown 'sticky string' is great. Lost count of how many bike punctures I have repaired at the side of the road with these.

I had only driven about 1/2 mile from home when I discovered the puncture (very little noticeable from the drivers seat). Unfortunately it had done major damage to the sidewall.
