I didn't realise there is normally an ashtray there. Mine has the cup holder and had a drop-in ashtray in the cupholder. That was turfed out when I got the car. I don't think the L322 had ever been smoked in - certainly the cigar lighters were as new. Ron B. VK2OTC

I posted this reply elsewhere in the the wrong thread. Sorry.

I thought I'd respray mine.

I sanded the paint off and sprayed with plastic primer. Not a success. The primer bloomed and then cracked.

Thinking it might have been a humidity problem (it was a few months back in summer), I sanded them all back again and resprayed yesterday when the humidity was 68% and the temp was 18 deg C (it is winter!).

The same thing happened again. I'm not sure what to do next.
