Please complete your profile so we know what car and year your have Thumbs Up

You will need a diagnostic tool, e.g. iiDTool, that can change things in the car configuration. There is no other way, as far as I know, to make such changes just using the in car controls. .

I’m not sure you can disable it

As Joe says, if It is possible, it will be an IID tool thing, but I don’t have one of those so can’t check

I actually quite like the feature - I can easily see if the car is locked - why would you want to leave the mirrors folded out ?

You also run the risk of the unwanted notice being taken of your mirrors NOT being folded...

It's also a good indication that the car's locked. Cheers Ian

as for the sunroof screen, two points...

Firstly, if you manually close it and open it, it should stay in that position when you turn the car off.

Secondly, you also have gesture control....wave your hand (in a gay heil hitler style movement!) at the left hand side of the rear view mirror, and it will open/close from its position.

From what I saw on a FFRR video from LR the screen will close when locking the car and will return to it's last known position when unlocked. So if it was open it will close and reopen. If it was closed it will remain closed.
Mirrors are best folded from both a security and safety standpoint IMHO.

It's possible to turn off the auto closing of the blind in the setup menu.
