Could it possibly be fuse number 63 in the passenger compartment fuse box which is listed as Front cigar lighter (20 amps Yellow)? Cheers Ian

Might artery forceps help with access? Available from fishing tackle shops as well as medical suppliers (used for removing hooks without handling fish). Only Range Rovers since 1988 |

I got my new (ish) L405 home yesterday and noticed the same problem. Fuse 63 was blown. My fondness for my new car was tempered slightly by the inaccessibility of the fuses behind the glove box mentioned earlier. Fuse 63 is the most cunningly obscured of all of them. Managed in the end to get the fuse out of slot 63 by first removing the relay to its right. Replaced the fuse with much swearing and now have two spare fuses floating about in the internals somewhere after dropping them. 2014 5.0 Supercharged Autobiography & 2015 3.0SDV6 HSE Lux Discovery 4

Today I had to change fuse 63....after an hour I was going to pop down to my local maternity unit and see if the on call gynaecologist could spare a few minutes. Bloody ell ! Trim off under glovebox, kick panel off ( once I'd removed the bonnet opening handle ) and large electrical plug disconnected...all just to change one fuse. Hang your heads in shame LR engineers/ designers. |
