L322 - what’s the actual width of the car please?! | |
Hello, hugely appreciate any replies on this one as I’m a bit stumped...
After some time I’m looking to purchase a Range Rover, specifically the L322 model.
Ideally I’m hoping to buy a 4.4 TDV8, 2010-2012. However I’ve got width restrictions near me and a garage, both of which are prompting me to ask:
Did L322 have the same width between the wheels/width of the actual car through its lifetime?
I can see that the L322 was 1,923 mm (75.7 in) from 2002–2009.
Yet it’s saying that it jumped up to 2,035 mm (80.1 in) from 2009–2012 - that’s 5 extra inches!
Is that the case that the car’s body got that much wider? Or is the measurement from 2009 now taken from folded mirrors?
Very keen to establish this as due to my above concerns, if the car did get significantly wider I’ll have to look at pre 2009 models and forgo the 4.4 TDV8 and the upgraded dash/nav
Best regards and thanks in advance!
