I had a series 2a landrover stuck in mud a long time ago in seas alter beach nr Faversham and a local farmer tried his best with a tractor to pull it out no joy. got a motorway wrecker down to try no joy . The landie floated when tide came in and after cleaning changing oil fired up she was due a referb so didn't bother about insurance tbh and I note that on mot site shes still about ! I bloody well miss the old beast I think it was one of the first conversions to a v8 then |

Only just spotted this thread but the local videos on Facebook were amusing and scary at the same time of the idiots who tried to recover it from the beach before the professionals turned up.
