The weather held up to make this a very well attended event with British made vehicles across many decades from vintage Bentley to McLaren. Three Fullfatrr in attendance, a Classic, L322 Westminster and my Overfinch H&H. Had a nice chat with the Westminster owner but sadly not with the other owner. Great atmosphere, excellent silver band and a street party style tables and chairs set up when grabbing some food and drink. Finished off the Platinum Celebrations perfectly.

Got to say this was a fascinating thread and that is a superb car, I don't read many threads completely but for me reading about a car with that pedigree is a refreshing change from L460 delivery times . Geoff |

Spent a great day out on Saturday with the RROC , it was great to see Matt’s Ultimate Edition again , the clubs 35th anniversary and it’s unique colour scheme was looking in great shape. There was also some great examples from the show of the LR brand.

A special opportunity arose last weekend to fly the Full Fat RR flag at the home of the Festival Of Speed Goodwood House. The HandH was one of around 40 hand picked vehicles selected from applications from GRRC members. Getting there early we got a good position in front of Goodwood House. I met some very nice people including a gentleman who’s son works for HandH, a lady and her family whose late brother in law was in the shotgun manufacture industry for decades and would have loved the car and the owner of 2 HandH shotguns who had a RR but not one like this!

Remember in June when we thought we were going to have a nice summer ? The Goodwood Motor Circuit had its 75th Anniversary event and the Rangey was selected for a showing. I was the only one there so definitely a FULLFATRR flag waving opportunity. Blue skies and some interesting motors.

It certainly was, John. Delighted to meet you and yours. Thanks for showing the H&H to me and letting me drool in the driver's seat. It's a beautiful car.

The Rangy needed a decent run so took on holiday for the first time in 5 years from Sussex to Suffolk. Some very picturesque villages and coastal towns with the Overfinch performing admirably and any Fullfat RR would look good in this quintessential British countryside and would recommend a visit.

I've just read all of the thread - that car is so great I wouldn't dare to use it or drive it if it was mine Geoff |
