On a serious note... It looks like you have 40% less brake pad than you should have. They will wear out faster, overheat quicker and not stop you as quickly as a full face pad.. Not a good fix I would say. Previously..

Today having done 7500 miles from new the car anounced worn brake pads. Not impressed. I suppose next they will tell me they are wearing parts and not covered by the warrenty. letters not necessarily in the right order |

I've seen a service bulletin on the Topix website for this complaint - the bulletins states that the pads need to be replaced with the revised part number to cure the noise issue.

Thanks, the car is booked in for tomorow morning, they think a wire may have come off, crettins. letters not necessarily in the right order |
