Does this corrosion look serious?

Been looking at buying my first l322 supercharged and found what looks to be a really nice one on eBay # eBay Item No. 113154415094.
He sent me a few addition pics and the one showing the boot floor has signs of corrosion that he never noticed, does it look serious/something to worry about?

Cheers

Personally I think its minor, remember the car is 11 years old (like mine) and looks well loved.
You are getting a lot of car for 12k, look at it this way, as a percentage of the whole vehicle is it a significant amount of corrosion ?. All cars try to recycle themselves and every car at that age is going to need some TLC at sometime, even some newer models. If I were still looking I certainly would go and have a look at it.

NB: This a facelift one (ignition to left of s/wheel), earlier ones had the key on the centre console, so its the model to go for as they are more popular.

Good Luck

Wasn’t too worried if that’s the only corrosion was wondering if there could be something worse underneath.
Ideally I would like a specialist to give it a once over but can find anyone in the Guildford area, longway for me to travel if it’s not right

The corrosion you show is trivial and could easily be dealt with.
I would be more inclined to open the rear upper tailgate and look at the seam along the bottom inside edge.
Also look carefully at the rear wheel arches with the doors open. Thumbs Up

Thanks for the info, was just worried if the corrosion was coming from below the boot floor what else might be there

Last year at MOT time I had 4 advisories for rust starting on the brake pipes (car has done 52k), the rears do seem more prone to rust, especially the one that runs across the car from rear offside right to left.
Do a search on here for brake pipe replacement posts to get a idea of whats involved.
Also check the MOT history of the car with this web site :- https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-status and of course check the service history. Can he send you some pics of the underneath at the back?.
