I like to think of it as being an individual. My cars have always had something done to them to make them stand out in a crowd. I don't see anything on CTC's car that resembles a go faster stripe. I fancy the SVA wheels but it's not an SVA, does it matter? I can't see why that would be embarrassing and think the majority of people out there wouldn't really appreciate what's been done to the car anyway. It's only us FF anoraks who have a clue and we know what's gone into doing a change such as this. It may not be to your taste but then it doesn't have to be because it's not yours. It has a few mods that I like and a few that look good which I personally couldn't be bothered with the cost of. I completely get where he's coming from and all power to his elbow for getting on and doing it. Us lazy/skint ones can only look on and marvel at the time and money invested into what he wants. Fill your boots my son as we say down here. |

Each to his own was my point. I hadn't spotted the badge but so what. I don't care and I'm sure he did it because he wanted to. That's the only requirement when it's your own car.

I get where you are coming from if you stick an M3 badge on a 318 etc.. however have a look at Craig's gallery, he makes them look a lot better and customising your vehicle is a personal thing. As mentioned 99% of people can't tell a P38 from an L405. It is also his business so a shop window |
