Can someone help pleas. had an egr temp sensor n/s go recently. The mechanic had to remove manifold because it snapped. he replaced the sensor, put the car back together, and it now has the code P1247-00. He's changed the turbo solenoid, but still flags this code.

The guy is highly recommended, but I ense he is loosing the will to live.

Has anyone experienced this before please
