HI lads , don't know where to start. I fixed the drivers door cable the one that goes into the door handle it as slipping out the slot so often , put it all back in place the D/door started chattering up and down 3 or 4 times when un locking but it worked then the passenger door wont lock or unlock. So I took out the drivers door lock and oiled it up checked it with a screwdriver lock and un lock the window started to go down so I put key in to hire window and I coud not turn the key the good part is it worked before I went near it, went over it 5 times card on and off, any advice cheers

Im new to all this, only have car a week how do you reset the battery is it shorting out the pos and neg terminals wnen disconnected, is it ok without a resistor thanks

The battery went dead , its on charge now , the doors were open the last 2 days while trying to fix or break it when I put it all together it was working, the passenger door was grand then I had a look at the drivers door lock it was stuttering when opening and after assembly it stopped dead as a do do
took both door cards off again . Everything connected on the first attempt to take the door card off the connector with 2 thin wires red and grey + brown that comes from rom the door handle inside broke at the connecter soldered them back. \going to have a go in the morning and reprogram the key and see what happens .

These machines are very sensitive to the battery and drian the battery very quickly. Hopefully a topped up battery will sort your issues. 2015 4.4 AB

I charged battery overnight put it in this morning put door cards back on car started,, battery good, key fob wont work at all, put new battery in fob boot wont open either key in lock works but the alarm goes off put key in ignition it stops the alarm. Tried to sync key fob no joy .Any ideas thanks

Well Lads. making a good bit of progress , I got fed up looking at RR so I checked battery voltage 11.9v so charged it another bit 12.6v. had 40 or 50 goes at sync key fob over the last 3 days no joy. So I was playing around and I turned the key on and off 3 times then sync and bingo door locks went on and off it worked all is fine except the passenger door is dead wont open or lock with key or fob, window and mirror works, get n there. It was fine before I started working on drivers side and did work when I put it all back, is there any test point I could do before I strip down door card again thanks
