Restricted performance - ideas?

Got a Restricted Performance warning message today in my TDV8 3.6. Message immediately on starting the engine. It had been sitting for an hour or so in bright sunshine, so very hot inside. I drove it and performance very definitely not restricted Very Happy

I have checked the top two intercooler to intake manifold hoses, including looking under the mesh on one of them. I’ve replaced these previously, although it would be 18 months or so ago. Both are definitely fine. There are no fault codes recorded.

Any other ideas or should I just see if it comes back?

Many thanks in advance for ideas and suggestions. Current: 2010 Range Rover L322

I had an RP message last year for no apparent reason - cruising on the motorway in normal conditions.

Pulled off at the next junction, turned her off and back on again after a few minutes and not had an issue since.

Id say if you have no symptoms then you have no problem? Bish.

Thanks Bish,

Guess I should be cheerful that its not returned and there doesn't seem to be any problem...

Might look at the wires on top of the front suspension struts (adaptive), which are prone to chafing and can cause this message. Something must have caused it and whatever it was must be intermittent. Other than that, I'm out of ideas.
