Does anyone on here know about old Oris watches. When my grandad died in the early 90s one of the things he left me was his old oris watch. I am guessing its probably 60s or 70s and well worn, he wore it everyday

A mate of mine who dabbles in watches told me that oris watches are quite desirable these days and i should list it on my house insurance? I don't think it worth a deal but he may be right about the insurance

I'd hang onto it for sentimental value,does it run?

It works fine and keeps good time. I have no intention of selling it but wondered if it was worth itemising on my insurance. Think i will be safe as it asks for items £500 and more to be itemised
