i have read that thread - all 13 pages! lots of nice wheel pics but can't find one that shows if the wheels fill the arches as i would wish i.e. a shot from behind the car. in addition, still no clarity on the fitting issue: lots of folk saying "take the l322 wheel off and fit the l405 - it's simple" but on other threads there are comments that the central spigot size is very slightly different. if the spigot diameter for an l405 is larger than l322 then the wheel will go on ok and appear to tighten up ok too. howvever, under those conditions centralisation of the wheel on the hub would depend upon wheel nut clearance in the wheel's holes which would likley also be subject to whether you fully tighten them before or after you put the vehicle's weight on the wheel. hence why i was seeking clarification of the spigit size as well as a rear view shot showing how well those wheels fill the arches. |

the 21'' will stick out further as they are 9.5j as opposed to the standard 8.5j...and as alistair says the tyres are 275mm wide instead of 255mm .. ... - .- -.

Spigot size is 72.6mm on both the 322 & 405 sir so 405 alloys fit EXACTLY the same on both vehicles |
