Hi Everybody! Just to update you all, it WAS the turbo that had shot-it! I managed to get a 2nd hand one for £120 with 3 months warranty and then it cost me £120 to have it fitted.
At least, after 6 months laid-up the TD6 is back on the road.... but only for a few hours because it needed an MOT and it failed with drop links, washer motor and a few bulbs!
Im going to get it properly valeted and then on to AutoTrader ASAP!!

Just be aware that when you get her upto HOT temps you may find she will smoke like crazy again as there maybe an amount of oil left in the exhaust system...

Usually lasts for 5 to 10 miles and can be QUITE ALARMING sir... Bow down
