Cleaning headlining?

Ok I’m really annoyed - I folded my old headlining in 3 put it in the boot to take to the dump... on the way I hit a bump and it catapulted open and wiped some of the orange foam glue on my brand new lining grrr any ideas how to clean it off? Chers

Damn what an unlucky mess. Shocked I guess keep a chunk of the old one so you can do some tests...

Or are there any offcuts from the new one do a test?

Is it tacky old glue? Try some dry cleaning fluid. Test first.

Otherwise head over to youtube. So many cool cleaning / detailer vids, probably some good tips there.

Good luck, Greg Cheers, Greg

Try a pantyhose with white vinegar with some Bicarbonate of soda, use the Pantyhouse in a ball with the white vinegar Bicarbonate as a paste and gently rub round in circles. DO NOT use any spirit which is oil based it will stain.

good luck
