2012 Range Rover blower fan and FSR

Hi All,

I have a 2012 L322 TDV8 which showed the typical AC/ Heater fan issues of being intermittent, then failing completely and now with the new twist of all fans on full blast even with the engine and ignition on! Obviously this has happened when the wife has the car as she pulled into Tesco's and is having a minor meltdown (the wife, not the Rangey... Although...)

Having looked into this I realise there was an issue that was typically the Final Stage Resistor and its going into my local guys next week to be fixed (not land rover dealer, just my local mechanics who I really trust). The thing i'm a bit confused by is this all seems to be on the earlier models and even the replacement part only seems to say up to 2009? Is it the same issue on this later model? And if so, what is the part?

Thanks for any help!

Mike

JGO000010 is the MY10-12 part number from the 2012 version of Microcat and it doesn't appear to have been superseded.

It''s the same part Mike and the same fault applies to later cars too.

On my 2011, I had to replace the FSR and the fan after they both failed.

The FSR is an easy fix, the fan is not.

Thanks both!

Well at least my fan is definitely working ;-/ Got the faulty FSR out yesterday evening, so just got to source one today and fit.

Wish me luck!

Best,

Mike
