Key won't turn issue.

I have just had the Key won't turn issue happen to me and I'm after a bit of help please.

Can anyone tell me the correct part number I'm looking for.
I want to buy a replacement Electronic Steering Column but EBay seem to have lots of different ones.
Mine is full electric adjustment for Rake and Reach.

I have had a look at mine and it says Week 04 Year 07 Part Number QMB500711.
Now I'm a bit suspicious of this as it does have tell tail breakers yard markings on it so I'm not sure if it is the original.

Car is a 54 Plate 4.4 Vogue.

Cheers

Jon

Well 2nd hand column arrived today and I fitted it tonight.
All works and I have my car back, but I've got the Air Suspension Inactive Error.
Tried the Sterring Angle Senor reset and it hasn't cleared it.

So question is if I did it wrong and turned the Wheel right first and then left, would I then have to disconnect the Battery again before trying it again ?

Well all sorted now.
My original column had a fault where the Reach worked but the Rake didn't, when the New one went in the Rake worked but the Reaah didn't Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes
So took the new one out again yesterday and swaped over the Rake Motors and it all works again.
When I refitted it dash still lit up like a Christmas tree so took it to a local independent guy and they plugged it in and recalibrated the Steering Angle Sensor with their machine.
Been out 3 times since and all is well again. Only charged me £20 to do it as well Cool Cool Cool

Thanks for the advice guys.
