Flexiplus to the rescue

Even ing all just returned from another trip to SW France house hunting swmbo had me everywhere from Sarlat to Arcachon anyway fine trip all round and stopped of at my sisters in the north. I got chatting to my brother in law who couldn't understand why I used flexi plus and bought them in blocks of ten - they buy standard in blocks of 10 - anyway left them this afternoon 2 hrs late after eating too much at lunchtime explained that as flexiplus it didn't matter - when we got to the terminal it was mental queues as long as you like overheard someone saying they had been queuing for over an hour just to check in anyway we were checked in through border control and in the lounge in under twenty mins then on the first shuttle and home and thats why we buy flexiplus Thumbs Up
Big thank you to Alistair as it was his recommendation that made me buy them last year

I do like FlexiPlus for the above reasons.

My wife is useless at getting out the house on time so with FlexiPlus it saves some tension and heated words between us.

Am yet to buy a block of them but still certainly considering it as drive to the Czech Republic 2-3 times a year and am sure we would go on the continent another couple of times if the tickets were there and waiting to be used.

cheers Alex

Thumbs Up

About 1/3 saving

£1420 for 10 - you need to use them within a year - but you can have 2 names on the account, so if you won't use all 10, but know someone else who travels...... you do need to name them when opening the account though & one of the 2 of you needs to be in the car - or at least your nominated credit card does - and they randomly spot check

In addition to the +/- 24 hours from time of crossing flexibility, you also get free sandwiches, snacks & drinks as well as the fast track through security.

Thanks we use it regularly but never bought a block. Have been 3 days + before and after without any issue.

They will often change if you call up - and they have space - but with Flexi, you just turn up early (or more usually) late and you're first on the next train.

If you're travelling on a peak day, for example Feb half term ski week - and it's full - just book the closest time & turn up when you feel like it.

IMHO, they are most useful on the way back when your arrival time is a little more uncertain / variable and you're a bit more tired & just want to get home
