South Africa 2016 Range Rover SVAutobiography 5.0 SC V8 Baltic Blue
What to do ...

We are taking the supercharger of 2007 Range Rover Supercharged to replace the infamous hose below the supercharger. Any advice on what to do whilst the supercharger is off? I can think of replacing the EGR valve (is this the same as the PCV - if yes, then it was replaced about 40000kms (24000miles) ago - will it be necessary to replace it again?

Anything else one can do to the supercharger itself, except for replacing the original pulley with a 6% pulley which was already done? Supercharger oil change? We don't seem to have people in South Africa that could rebuilt the supercharger, else one could consider doing that.

Intention is to replace all the hoses including heater hoses - will appreciate if I can get help with the part numbers.

Thanks in advance

pcv and EGR are 2 different things.

not heard of any problems with the EGR on the Supercharged, (im assuming it has one as most cars do...) if you think about it the problems are mainly with the diesel cars as they produce more soot, and clog up the valves preventing them from operating properly.

Petrol cars don't produce anywhere near as much soot which is probably why you don't hear of failures so often, or maybe its because there are many more diesels on the road. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
