you will need to find a way to create some weakness in the new door card at the top as on pre 2007 vehicles the side impact airbag is attached to the door behind the door card above the arm rest, where as on post 2007 vehicles this was moved and built into the side of the front seats.

When you say trim do you mean the speaker cover or below the arm rest where the wood insert goes?

Bass speakers are in the same place, mids are in a slightly different place but same mounting, airbags already been mentioned.

TBH I have baby seats in the back so I should really disable those airbags anyway is there a proper way of doing it? Or just unplugging and leaving the light on? That's would sort half the problem... Current stable:

Just came across the thread. The rear doors don't have airbags built into them like the fronts.
