Until there is parity in funding F1 will remain a sport of three / four teams plus the rest. I have stuck with it for the last 5 years but this year unless something fantastic occurs I suspect will be my last - its actually quite boring!.

I want Berny back. That"s only one who understands how to print money and make teams happy and push the F1 sport forward. With the end result that we watch F1 with pleasure.

When Bernie was ousted, I was hoping for great thing's from Liberty, but from what i've seen so far, they are more interested in attracting new audiences under the age of 14 with the attention span of a goldfish, rather than some of us who have been following F1 since the days of Piquet (Nelson not junior) and Villeneuve (Gilles, not Jacques).

That was certainly a good race this afternoon. I’m no Vettel fan but credit where credit’s due he did well to hang on to that lead today. It’s looking like it might be a good season of mixed racing for a change. |

Wonder if mclaren are having second thoughts about dumping Honda, and the fact it cost them £100 million to do it as well! |

While Gasly did drive a good race his team mate was way down the field. McLaren did a reasonable job given that they missed so much testing with issues marrying up the Renault engine to their package. I’m hoping they pick it up in the remaining part of the season just to make it more interesting..... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Agreed re Gasly - commentators where late to pick up on the fact he was doing so well earlier on. |
