1. Hold down the tone button on the stereo (the musical note) for 2-3 seconds and you can access a menu to adjust the volumes of system sounds and speed adjusted volume. My phone calls were a bit quiet and turning the volume up in this hidden menu has sorted it

Upon reading your post, I nipped straight out to the car to try it! It works!!

The only option it doesn't appear to offer is the volume of the reversing beeps, but (hopefully) this will be included with some of the settings I've now adjusted. Wasn't desperate enough to start the car from cold just to try it out!....  The older I get, the more I realise that people confuse wrinkles for wisdom

I think those features are only brushed upon in the manual, so very easy to miss.
