hidden box with auxiliary battery

hello the LR Addicts

today by dismounting my CD charger,
I found a hidden box with auxiliary battery,
have you ever seen this or similar ?

GPS tracker ?

Since it was not powered electrically I removed it, and it did not seem to be of origin of the vehicle.
we can see the logo motorola and the gray wire was an antenna.

DrF is right. It's a vehicle tracker but an aftermarket one not an LR unit. Probably fitted by a previous owner as an insurance requirement. 2021 D350 Fifty Edition - Carpathian Grey

As said above, it's an aftermarket GPS Tracker, link below to UK version on ebay.

Yours is obviously the French version, hence the FR suffix.
