AMK Compressor (new) and relay problems

Hi there,

I recently have been trying to upgrade/replace the old Hitachi compressor in my 2008 LR322 to a AMK model.

Purchased the whole kit from Arnott, first one that I received did not work..... Sent it back and got another one.

1) Installed New One
2) Reflashed with IID to AMK
3) Started it and it worked
4) Changed from existing relay to the new one that came with it (note - chinese brand and not LR) - NO WORKY

Any ideas or suggestions for what the correct LR part number would be for the required new relay for the AMK compressor. Im also curious as to why there is a new relay required. Is there some change like more current draw?

Everywhere I look the AMK compressor kit has a relay. Im trying to understand why 2008 HSE B. Grey

As I understand it, it's good practice to change it when the compressor is changed. I don't think it's specific to the AMK compressor - the recommendation is to change the relay with any compressor change. 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate
