You can re-flash the firmware in your own if it's working ok

You can also flash the latest version of SW with an IID tool if you have one ... it’s included with the BT IId tool at least 4.2 SC - sold , now bought back

thanks for the info men, once again I've only got an icarsoft 930i which came with the car ( was all cased up in the boot cuby hole when I got it , can only presume previous owner had bought it ) this IId tool keeps coming into to play but just can't afford one at present as the graft beens pretty thin since Christmas. Range rover 4.2 SC 06MY. |

you can upgrade to the D4 Bluetooth unit which is supposed to be better again, which is something I am considering doing

The fact that the IID tool includes a BT upgrade can help with the man maths ... 4.2 SC - sold , now bought back
