Thanks to a suicidal badger our other car (Audi A4 2003) is nursing a smashed lower fornt grille. These 2 things were left hanging down once the grille was removed. Anyone know what they could be please? Dont think they are parking sensors, as the rear bumper has parking sensors and they are the 4 small round colour-coded 'plugs' in the rear bumper

At a guess I'd say an old laser jammer. Commonly marketed as garage door openers as you aren't allowed to use them for the other purpose  Current

+1 on the laser jammer or diffuser ...
You could cut and insulate the wires or trace them back to where they tapped into power and earth .. should also be a piezo buzzer in the cabin somewhere 4.2 SC - sold , now bought back
